Located at 410 Connecticut St, Buffalo, NY 14213, Mineo & Sapio operates as a specialty food store serving Buffalo in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Buffalo with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in New York may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–3:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Buffalo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Enjoyed the Stuffed Hot Pepper Sausage with Capicola and Provolone cheese last night. It was incredible! There is a reason these folks have been a Buffalo favorite for 100+ years, absolutely authentic Italian!

Okay, I was making pizza and thought it would be better with sausage. To be honest, I haven't bought sausage from here in such a long time, I didn't even know if they were still in business or not. So I go there, and they have rather a large variety of sausage. I buy some, get home, but now I'm craving an Italian Sausage sandwich, you know the kind you used to get at a carnival only I don't like the onions or peppers cooked, raw veggies are best. The sandwich was sooooo good. Reminds me of a guy named Jerry that made them at the Italian Festival. I knew Jerry from dealing with him all the time when he owned a store at Niagara Street and Rhode Island. Yeah, a long time ago. Anyway, the sandwich was AWESOME! To say the least. The pizza came out really good too. However, Mineo & Sapio's Sausage took everything up and over the top. I just wish there were a way to get the word out more. Man, it was so good! I'm going back for more. Oh, and by the way, they also make sausage patties, which are pretty big. I can't stop thinking about this stuff now. In a word- AWESOME! Simply AWESOME!

Always amazing but I swear you plump the royals with cheese for the fair more than the royals at your store! I’m not complaining it’s amazing but would like some fair style cheese plumpness when we cook them at home!

Mineo & Sapio sausage is the backbone of my Italian family’s Christmas. It’s what I was raised on and delicious. They have fresh, frozen and some pre-cooked, in pork or chicken, with a lot of varieties on hand. Plus stuffed hot peppers, meatballs and patties, links and ground sausage, plus imported Romano cheese. I opted for 2# of meatballs and the dandelion chicken sausage. Yum! They take cards.
